Convenience store average fuel gallons per store measures annual retail fuel gallons sold per mature location under Casey's stated eligibility rule.

Casey's reported 1.217 million gallons per store for its mature-store comparison population in fiscal 2026, up from 1.123 million in fiscal 2025.

Mature-store fuel throughput increased about 8.4%

The increase was approximately 94,000 gallons per store, or about 8.4%.

That unit-level growth was much faster than Casey's 1.4% same-store fuel-gallon growth because the two metrics use different constructions and should not be substituted for one another.

Per-store gallons and per-gallon contribution form a unit-economics bridge

Casey's reported 42.57 cents of fuel contribution per gallon.

Multiplying 1.217 million gallons by $0.4257 gives roughly $518,000 of fuel revenue less cost of goods sold per mature store, close to Casey's reported $512,000 average store fuel contribution after rounding and population differences.
