Base case is our central scenario. Bear and bull cases show how uncertainty around private holdings, retained proceeds, taxes and liabilities can move the estimate.
Rankings use the current base-case estimate and show the wider bear-to-bull range on the full list.

Forbes placed Middleton at the top of its 2017 YouTube earnings ranking and again near the top in 2018, with $35 million of estimated gross earnings across the two scoring periods.
Those estimates capture business scale, but they still precede taxes, staff and production costs, touring expenses and personal spending.
DanTDM was not solely an advertising business. Forbes tied his earnings to live touring and merchandise as well as the channel, while Guinness documented extraordinary audience scale.
Because the current economics of those extensions are private, the estimate does not assign a large standalone franchise valuation.

Forbes estimated DanTDM earned $16.5 million in its 2017 scoring period, driven by billions of views, a global tour and branded work.
Sources[1]Forbes estimated $18.5 million of 2018 earnings and highlighted touring and merchandise alongside the channel.
Sources[2]Guinness World Records documented more than 10.5 billion views on the DanTDM gaming channel by July 2017.
Sources[3]The estimate converts documented historical creator earnings into a conservative retained-capital range and uses only a modest separate allowance for brand and media IP because no audited valuation or sale price exists.

Forbes estimated $16.5 million and $18.5 million of earnings in consecutive scoring periods, with touring, video income and merchandise contributing. The model discounts those historical gross figures for taxes, production costs, management, spending and uncertain later-year earnings.
Sources[1][2]Middleton expanded beyond YouTube into touring, merchandise, publishing and produced media, but no audited catalog or operating-company valuation is public. The separate brand/IP value therefore remains conservative.

Initial Grizzly Bulls estimate published with retained creator and touring capital separated from bounded brand and media IP value.
This is the first retained snapshot, so there is no earlier comparable Grizzly Bulls estimate to show yet.
Guinness recorded more than 10.5 billion channel views at the time.
Sources[3]The scoring period included YouTube activity, an international live tour and branded content.
