Base case is our central scenario. Bear and bull cases show how uncertainty around private holdings, retained proceeds, taxes and liabilities can move the estimate.
Rankings use the current base-case estimate and show the wider bear-to-bull range on the full list.

Forbes estimated Shane’s creator earnings at $6 million in 2024, $9 million in 2025 and $14 million in 2026. The progression matters more than follower counts because it shows the business producing materially higher annual income as Therapuss and live comedy expanded.
Touring also raises the cost side of the equation. Venues, production, travel, management and taxes all reduce how much gross annual income can become lasting personal wealth, so the reported earnings are not simply added together.
Forbes reported in February 2026 that German candy company Katjes named Shane chief creative officer. The role adds another commercial channel beyond podcast ads, brand sponsorships and ticket sales.
The reporting does not disclose an ownership stake or equity compensation. That distinction matters because Katjes’s company scale cannot be treated as Shane’s personal asset without evidence connecting him to ownership.

Forbes reported in February 2026 that Katjes named Shane chief creative officer; the role is operating context and does not establish an ownership stake.
Sources[3]Three recent Forbes earnings observations provide the main financial anchor. Gross income is reduced for taxes, touring and production costs, while podcast and brand rights receive only a modest separate value because no sale or royalty transaction establishes a market price.

Forbes estimated annual creator earnings of $6 million, $9 million and $14 million from 2024 through 2026. These are historical gross flows, so taxes, touring and production costs, management, spending and reinvestment reduce the amount that can remain as current wealth.
