Base case is our central scenario. Bear and bull cases show how uncertainty around private holdings, retained proceeds, taxes and liabilities can move the estimate.
Rankings use the current base-case estimate and show the wider bear-to-bull range on the full list.
Switch scenarios to see how the total and each component move together. The bars show each positive component's share of the estimated assets in that scenario, not audited holdings.
Star’s economics were not limited to ads and sponsorships. Forbes described a cosmetics company with more than $100 million of annual sales while also estimating $18 million of personal earnings in 2018.
That combination supports a larger operating-business component than a typical creator profile, but company sales still cannot be treated as personal net worth.
Later earnings estimates of $17 million in 2019 and $15 million in 2020 show that substantial cash generation continued after 2018.
What remains unclear is the current revenue, margin, debt and ownership structure of Jeffree Star Cosmetics, so the company component stays well below a simple sales multiple.
Sources[1][2][3]A reported salary, company sale or brand valuation is not automatically current personal wealth. We show the pieces that can be tied to retained evidence and keep historical flows separate.
Forbes estimated Jeffree Star earned $18 million in 2018 and reported more than $100 million of annual sales at Jeffree Star Cosmetics.
Sources[1]The estimate separates retained historical earnings from a bounded cosmetics-business equity allowance. It does not treat company revenue as personal income or apply a revenue multiple without current margin, debt and ownership evidence.

Forbes estimated $18 million of earnings in 2018, CBS reported a $17 million Forbes estimate for 2019 and Forbes estimated $15 million for 2020. Those figures are historical pretax earnings, so the model discounts them for taxes, operating costs, inventory, staff, spending and reinvestment.
Sources[1][2][3]Forbes reported Jeffree Star co-founded the cosmetics company and that it was selling more than $100 million of products annually in 2018. Revenue is not equity value, and current margins, debt, ownership structure and sales scale are not public, so the private-company component is bounded far below any simple revenue multiple.

Initial Grizzly Bulls estimate published with retained creator and beauty-business capital separated from bounded cosmetics-company equity.
This is the first retained snapshot, so there is no earlier comparable Grizzly Bulls estimate to show yet.
The 2018 ranking described Star as a beauty mogul and tied his economics to the cosmetics company he co-founded.
Sources[1]CBS reported Star remained among YouTube’s highest-paid creators while operating his cosmetics line.
Sources[2]Star remained in the top ten despite a lower annual earnings estimate than the prior two years.
