Solid waste industrial collection yield measures the effect of pricing and service-mix changes on industrial collection revenue, excluding volume.

WM reported 3.4% industrial collection yield in Q2 2026, compared with 3.3% for the first half of 2026.

Yield is a realized revenue measure

It incorporates base rates, fees, service mix, pricing on new and lost business, and retention-related price changes. The measure is therefore broader than a headline rate increase and should be compared with activity separately.

Use it with industrial collection volume and Collection and Disposal yield to keep pricing and demand effects distinct.
