The Weeknd Net Worth Estimate
What we can support today
Tour gross is not the same thing as personal wealth
Forbes estimated about $77 million of profit from more than 40 shows in 2025. That person-level profit figure is much more useful than simply assigning him a percentage of a billion-dollar tour gross.
The catalog headline still needs an ownership haircut
The Lyric Capital transaction was reported as potentially worth as much as $1 billion, but the structure was a stake transaction rather than a simple sale of every right for cash. The estimate therefore uses the reported earnings impact without pretending the full headline amount landed on his balance sheet.
How to read this estimate
The headline number is a scenario result. The evidence below shows which parts are directly observed, which parts are modeled, and which historical cash flows are deliberately kept out of the current balance sheet.
Observed
Dated ownership, market values and transaction facts anchor what can be measured directly. An observed component may still cover only part of the total balance sheet.
Modeled
Bear, base and bull components are current-value scenarios built from person-specific evidence. They are not presented as directly observed holdings.
Not double-counted
Career earnings, salaries and sale proceeds explain how wealth formed. We do not add them again as current assets unless retained capital is separately modeled.
Observed assets and financial anchors
A reported salary, company sale or brand valuation is not automatically current personal wealth. We show the pieces that can be tied to retained evidence and keep historical flows separate.
Scenario balance sheet
These are the modeled current components that add up to our bear, base and bull cases. A wide range is a feature here: it shows how much private-market and retained-capital uncertainty can move the answer.

Modeled retained touring and catalog-transaction capital
Forbes estimated $298 million of 2025 earnings, driven by tour profit and a catalog transaction with Lyric Capital reported as potentially worth as much as $1 billion. The model treats those as historical inflows and does not assume the headline transaction value equals cash retained by Tesfaye.
Sources[1][2]Modeled retained music rights and other private assets
The After Hours Til Dawn tour had already produced an estimated $55 million of 2023 earnings before later crossing $1 billion of gross revenue. Remaining catalog ownership, property and private-company interests are not disclosed precisely enough for a narrow mark.
Sources[2][1]How we calculate net worth
The estimate treats Forbes’s personal earnings figures as historical inflows, not as current cash. It discounts them for taxes and spending, then adds a smaller allowance for rights and private assets that may remain after the catalog transaction.
What could move the estimate
- How much catalog ownership remains after the Lyric Capital transaction?
- What taxes and transaction costs applied to the 2025 proceeds?
- What current property and private-company interests are material?
