alternative asset manager realized performance revenues are performance-linked revenues that have reached the issuer's realization criteria and enter realized segment earnings.
Blackstone reported $2.816 billion of total-segment realized performance revenues for 2025.
Why realization status matters
Realized performance revenues sit inside Net Realizations rather than Fee Related Earnings. They therefore depend more heavily on investment exits, incentive-fee crystallization, and distribution timing than recurring management fees.
Investor caution
Realized performance revenue is not the same as total GAAP performance revenue or accrued carry. Blackstone removes fee-related performance revenues and makes segment adjustments when arriving at this measure.
