Data Cloud Forbes Global 2000 Customers measures how many companies on the current Forbes Global 2000 list are customers of a data-cloud platform under the issuer's customer-count methodology.
Snowflake reported 829 Forbes Global 2000 customers as of July 31, 2026, compared with 786 a year earlier.
The company also said those customers contributed about 41% of total revenue for the six months ended July 31, 2026.
Why it matters
The metric provides a focused view of penetration among large global enterprises, where data volumes, workload breadth, and potential capacity needs can be substantial.
Investor caution
The denominator is not fixed forever. Snowflake updates historical counts for changes to the Forbes list and for acquisitions, consolidations, spin-offs, and other market activity.
The figure also inherits Snowflake's customer-count convention, under which separate accounts within a larger organization can in some cases be counted separately.
