SCI reported $816.9 million of insurance-funded preneed funeral sales production in 2025.

SCI also reported $339.7 million of trust-funded and bonded preneed funeral sales production.

Combined production was $1.1566 billion, making insurance about 70.6% of the total and trust-funded production about 29.4%.

Production is not current funeral revenue

For unfulfilled insurance-funded contracts, SCI does not record the contract amount on its consolidated balance sheet. The life-insurance proceeds are reflected in revenue when the funeral is performed in the future.

That makes this an accounting-boundary metric, not a current-revenue measure.
