Parcel delivery international average revenue per piece measures the revenue UPS generates per package in its International Package segment.

UPS reported that international revenue per piece increased 18.9% in Q2 2026. Domestic revenue per piece was $9.74, up 13.1%, while export revenue per piece was $38.45, up 18.7%.

Revenue per piece is not a pure price measure

The measure changes with base rates, accessorial charges, fuel surcharges, customer mix, product mix, geography, and trade lanes. UPS attributed the quarter's increase mainly to fuel surcharges and revenue-quality actions, with favorable geographic and trade-lane mix also contributing.

Pair it with international average daily package volume and International Package revenue. A higher revenue-per-piece figure can offset falling volume without proving underlying shipment demand improved.
