Parcel delivery U.S. Domestic Package operating profit is UPS's reported segment profit from time-definite letter, document, and package delivery within the United States.

UPS reported $16M of U.S. Domestic Package operating profit in Q2 2026, down 98.3% from $916M a year earlier, despite a 6.0% increase in segment revenue.

Reported profit was heavily affected by transformation costs

UPS recorded substantial employee-separation costs related to its Driver Choice Program during the quarter. Its non-GAAP adjusted U.S. Domestic Package operating profit was $1.188B, so the adjusted figure answers a different question from the reported GAAP result.

Compare operating profit with U.S. Domestic Package revenue and U.S. Domestic Package operating margin. Keeping reported and adjusted measures separate prevents a restructuring quarter from being mistaken for either normal profitability or a fully recurring cost base.
