Parcel delivery U.S. Domestic Package operating margin is UPS's GAAP operating profit for the U.S. Domestic Package segment divided by segment revenue.

UPS reported a 0.1% U.S. Domestic Package operating margin in Q2 2026, down from 6.5% a year earlier. Segment revenue rose to $14.930B while reported operating profit fell to $16M.

Adjusted margin tells a different story

UPS also reported a non-GAAP adjusted U.S. Domestic Package operating margin of 8.0%, up from 7.0% a year earlier, after excluding transformation-strategy costs. The large gap makes the GAAP-versus-adjusted boundary especially important in this quarter.

Analyze the margin with U.S. Domestic Package operating profit and U.S. Domestic average revenue per piece. Revenue quality can improve while separation, labor, fuel, postal, aircraft, and network costs change reported conversion sharply.
