Parcel delivery U.S. Domestic average revenue per piece measures the average revenue UPS generates for each package in its U.S. Domestic Package segment.

UPS reported $14.24 of average revenue per piece in Q2 2026, up 9.3% from $13.03 a year earlier. Ground revenue per piece was $12.35, deferred was $21.74, and Next Day Air was $28.55.

Revenue per piece mixes price with customer and product mix

UPS said the Q2 increase reflected a 5.9% average net increase in base and accessorial rates implemented through 2025, higher fuel surcharges, and favorable customer mix. Air cargo is measured by dimensional weight and contributes to the revenue bridge without entering the per-piece discussion.

Use this metric with U.S. Domestic average daily package volume and U.S. Domestic Package operating margin. It should not be read as a clean list-price increase.
