Rail equipment Transit operating margin measures Transit segment operating income as a percentage of Transit segment sales.
Wabtec reported a 15.6% Transit operating margin in the second quarter of 2026, up from 13.9% a year earlier.
Margin improved alongside higher sales
Wabtec said the increase resulted from improved gross margins, partly offset by higher operating expenses as a percentage of revenue on a GAAP basis.
