Base case is our central scenario. Bear and bull cases show how uncertainty around private holdings, retained proceeds, taxes and liabilities can move the estimate.
Rankings use the current base-case estimate and show the wider bear-to-bull range on the full list.

Gasly made his Formula 1 debut in 2017 and worked through Toro Rosso, Red Bull and AlphaTauri before joining Alpine in 2023. His 2020 Italian Grand Prix victory was a turning point in his sporting career, but a trophy cannot be converted into a disclosed dollar asset. The financial question is how much of several years of racing and outside commercial revenue has been retained.
RacingNews365 estimated a $10M annual base salary for the 2025 Alpine season using sources in the Formula 1 paddock. It published that estimate in February, before the season had run. Team bonuses, personal sponsorships, taxes and expenses were outside the figure, and a projected pay rate does not document the cash Gasly actually received.
In September 2025, Alpine announced that Gasly's contract would run to the end of 2028. The official announcement confirms team continuity and the possibility of future earnings, but it gives neither a wage amount nor any equity or bonus terms. Assigning three extra seasons of unverified compensation as a present asset would confuse employment prospects with accumulated wealth.
The $30M central scenario therefore concerns plausible capital already retained from a lengthy driving career, rather than a sum of contract headlines. Its $12M to $65M range allows for materially different savings, investments, off-track income and liabilities. A verified property holding or disclosed personal investment could narrow that range more reliably than another celebrity net-worth website.

A 1 February 2025 RacingNews365 paddock-source survey estimated Pierre Gasly's base annual Alpine salary at approximately $10M for 2025. Team bonuses and personal sponsorship were excluded, and realized 2025 payment was not verified.
Sources[1]Alpine announced on 6 September 2025 that it had extended Gasly's contract through the end of the 2028 Formula 1 season without disclosing compensation or equity terms.

Sources[3]RacingNews365 estimated $10M in base annual Alpine salary in February 2025. Bonuses, sponsorships and actual take-home receipts are unverified. A later team extension through 2028 did not disclose pay terms.

RacingNews365's February 2025 salary survey estimated Gasly's Alpine base pay at $10M for the coming season, with bonuses and individual sponsors explicitly excluded. Alpine separately confirmed a September 2025 extension through 2028 but disclosed no dollar terms. Gasly's F1 career dates to 2017 and includes his 2020 Italian Grand Prix victory, offering time for retained savings and investments. An independent $30M central capital scenario is an uncertain estimate of cumulative net assets; it does not treat estimated gross salary, unreported bonuses or prospective contract years as today's investments.

Initial wealth scenario separates an estimated 2025 base salary from actual retained savings, unknown bonuses and future Alpine contract earnings.
This is the first retained snapshot, so there is no earlier comparable Grizzly Bulls estimate to show yet.
A pre-season paddock-source survey estimated gross annual base pay of approximately $10M, excluding performance bonuses and personal sponsors. The report did not confirm the final amount received.
Sources[1]Alpine confirmed the multiyear extension without disclosing its financial terms. Future compensation is not included as cash in today's estimated balance sheet.
