Base case is our central scenario. Bear and bull cases show how uncertainty around private holdings, retained proceeds, taxes and liabilities can move the estimate.
Rankings use the current base-case estimate and show the wider bear-to-bull range on the full list.

Ocon entered Formula 1 with Manor in 2016 and went on to race for Force India, Renault and Alpine. His 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix victory remains an important sporting milestone, confirmed in Formula 1's official results. Race victories can influence later negotiations, but the record does not state how much the winning driver personally retained after expenses and tax.
Formula 1's biography also describes the sacrifices made by his family to finance his early racing career. Those circumstances help explain the path to professional driving, but they do not establish debts, reimbursement obligations or an inheritance. A personal wealth estimate must draw on documented professional pay rather than extrapolating ownership from a family's support.
Ocon moved to Haas for 2025. RacingNews365 estimated his annual base salary at $7M using paddock sources in a preseason survey, without bonuses or outside sponsorships. The amount is a media projection, not a disclosed contract or proof of his actual full-year take-home pay. It cannot be doubled by treating salary and a possible performance bonus as two separate confirmed assets.
The $27M central estimate instead concerns possible wealth already retained across his Formula 1 career. The $12M to $59M range allows for uneven prior compensation, professional expenses, commercial deals, investment outcomes and private obligations. Neither the 2021 trophy nor future contract years is assigned a standalone asset value.

RacingNews365's preseason 2025 paddock-source survey estimated Esteban Ocon's annual Haas base salary at approximately $7M. Bonuses, sponsors and realized receipts are not established.

RacingNews365's February 2025 survey placed Esteban Ocon's estimated Haas base salary at $7M; it excluded performance bonuses, sponsors and taxes and was published before the season. Since his 2016 F1 debut, multiple years of possible racing compensation exist, but no verified current personal assets, investments, liabilities or cash receipts are supplied. The $27M central case and $12M to $59M range are independent assumptions about personally retained capital, not a sum of gross contract values or future income.

First estimate distinguishes gross preseason Haas pay expectations and an earlier race victory from currently owned wealth.
This is the first retained snapshot, so there is no earlier comparable Grizzly Bulls estimate to show yet.
