Base case is our central scenario. Bear and bull cases show how uncertainty around private holdings, retained proceeds, taxes and liabilities can move the estimate.
Rankings use the current base-case estimate and show the wider bear-to-bull range on the full list.

Forbes reported $11.5M of television earnings for Burrell in its 2015 ranking. TVLine’s summary of the following Forbes ranking then put him at $12.5M, showing that the role was supporting repeated eight-figure personal income rather than one unusually strong year.
The 2017 renewal reporting later described the adult cast moving toward roughly $500,000 per episode. That salary helps constrain the scale of Burrell’s historical cash flow, but it overlaps with the annual earnings observations and does not reveal how much ultimately remained after taxes, representation, spending and investing.
Modern Family remains a valuable television property, but the series’ continuing commercial value is not the same thing as Burrell’s personal asset value. Public evidence does not disclose enough current residual or backend economics to support a separate valuation.
Investments, property net equity, taxes, transfers and liabilities are also incomplete. The estimate therefore gives substantial weight to the documented earnings record without assuming that historical pretax compensation survived intact.
Sources[1][2][3]A reported salary, company sale or brand valuation is not automatically current personal wealth. We show the pieces that can be tied to retained evidence and keep historical flows separate.
TVLine reported Burrell at $12.5M in Forbes' 2016 ranking of the highest-paid television actors, after Forbes had reported $11.5M for the prior annual ranking.
Sources[1][2]The 2017 Modern Family renewal reporting put adult-cast compensation around $500,000 per episode for the next two seasons.
Sources[3]The estimate treats Burrell’s annual earnings observations and late-series episode pay as overlapping historical personal-flow evidence. Current residuals, backend participation, investments and liabilities remain unpriced where public economics are incomplete.
