Accelerated Computing Supply and Capacity Commitments measure future obligations used to secure critical supply and manufacturing capacity for accelerated-computing systems.
NVIDIA disclosed $279 billion of supply and capacity commitments as of July 26, 2026, up from $119 billion in the prior quarter.
Why it matters
Large forward commitments show how much supply-chain capacity must be secured ahead of expected AI demand. NVIDIA said the commitments primarily relate to memory and manufacturing facilities for current and future data-center architectures.
Investor caution
A commitment is not the same as inventory already received, capital expenditure already paid, or guaranteed future revenue. Some supplier arrangements may be cancelable, reschedulable, or adjustable before firm orders are placed.
