R&D Solutions revenue is IQVIA's recognized revenue from outsourced clinical research, clinical trials, real-world research, and related R&D services.

IQVIA reported $2.575B of R&D Solutions revenue in Q2 2026, up 8.8% from $2.366B a year earlier. Constant-currency growth was 8.6%.

Revenue is the conversion point

Net new bookings and contracted backlog describe future work. Revenue records the portion recognized in the current period.

IQVIA also said R&D revenue excluding reimbursed expenses grew 6.7% on a reported basis, showing why pass-through investigator and travel costs can make headline revenue growth differ from underlying service growth.

Primary sources: IQVIA Q2 2026 Form 10-Q and Q2 2026 earnings release filed with the SEC.
