Commerce & Cloud North America Operating Income measures operating profit for Amazon's North America reportable segment.
Amazon reported $9.123 billion of North America operating income in fiscal Q2 2026, up from $7.517 billion a year earlier.
Why it matters
The segment profit combines the economics of retail sales, third-party sellers, advertising, subscriptions, fulfillment, shipping, and technology infrastructure in North America.
Investor caution
North America operating income is not the profit from Online stores alone. Amazon said higher unit sales and advertising sales helped profit, while shipping, fulfillment, and technology and infrastructure costs were offsets.
