Industrial distribution Digital Footprint sales measure Fastenal's sales touched by FMI technology or eBusiness after removing sales counted in both channels.

Fastenal reported $1.493B of Digital Footprint sales in Q2 2026, up 16.2% from $1.285B a year earlier. Digital Footprint represented 61.6% of sales, compared with 61.0% in Q2 2025.

The measure removes channel overlap

Fastenal defines Digital Footprint as FMI sales plus eBusiness sales that are not FMI billings. The disclosed eBusiness and FMI overlap must therefore be subtracted rather than counted twice.

The measure describes sales interaction with Fastenal's digital operating system, not a pure ecommerce channel and not necessarily incremental demand. Some FMI growth reflects migration from older non-digital stocking locations.
