Industrial distribution eBusiness sales measure Fastenal transactions through integrated eProcurement and transactional ecommerce tools.

Fastenal reported $711.9M of eBusiness sales in Q2 2026, up 12.6% from $631.9M a year earlier. eBusiness represented 29.4% of sales, compared with 30.0% in Q2 2025.

eBusiness is broader than website sales

Fastenal includes eProcurement activities such as electronic data interchange, or EDI, as well as transactional website sales. The metric therefore should not be interpreted as a consumer-style ecommerce share.

Some eBusiness transactions also use FMI technology. Fastenal separately reports the eBusiness-FMI overlap so its broader Digital Footprint can avoid double counting.
