Industrial distribution weighted FASTBin and FASTVend signings measure newly contracted embedded FMI deployments in Fastenal's standardized machine equivalent units, or MEUs.

Fastenal signed 6,993 weighted devices in Q2 2026, up 8.3% from 6,458 a year earlier. Signings averaged 109 per day versus 101.

Signings are commitments, not installations or sales

The weighting combines FASTBin and FASTVend device types based on expected output. It does not include FASTStock because scanned stocking locations cannot be standardized into MEUs.

A signing can precede deployment, so compare it with weighted installations rather than treating the two as the same installed-base statistic. Revenue adoption is a third measure, captured by FASTBin/FASTVend sales and broader FMI sales.
