Renewable Diesel Sales Volume measures the gallons sold by Valero's Renewable Diesel segment during the reporting period.

Valero reported 2.748 million gallons per day in 2025, down from 3.530 million gallons per day in 2024.

Sales volume declined about 22.2%

The decrease was 0.782 million gallons per day.

Dividing by the 3.530 million gallon prior-year base gives approximately 22.2%.

Annualized 2025 sales were about 1.003 billion gallons

Multiplying 2.748 million gallons per day by 365 days gives approximately 1.003 billion gallons.

That scale helps reconcile the reported $0.42 margin per gallon with the $419 million annual Renewable Diesel margin.

Sales volume is not production capacity

Valero uses sales volume as the operating denominator for Renewable Diesel because it says that convention is generally used by comparable operators.

Use Renewable Diesel Production Capacity for physical nameplate scale, and do not equate the two measures.
