Security monitoring and related services revenue combines recurring monitoring fees with related service revenue recognized during the period.

ADT reported $4.354 billion of monitoring and related services revenue in 2025, up from $4.293 billion in 2024.

The revenue line has two disclosed components

ADT reported:

  • recurring monthly revenue: $4.216 billion; and
  • other related services: $137.7 million.

The sum reconciles to the $4.354 billion monitoring and related services total.

Pricing and service activity both contributed to growth

ADT said recurring revenue increased primarily because higher average prices outweighed lower volume.

The company also reported approximately $20 million of higher time-and-materials billings from increased volume.

That means growth in this GAAP revenue grouping can come from both the recurring subscription base and non-recurring service activity.

The line is broader than recurring monthly revenue

Recurring monthly revenue is the dominant component, but it is not the entire category.

Keeping the components separate makes it easier to distinguish subscription monetization from time-and-materials or other service revenue.
