U.S. smoke-free shipment volume growth measures year-over-year change in PMI's U.S. smoke-free product shipments.
PMI reported 1.8% growth in U.S. smoke-free shipment volume in the second quarter of 2026.
Oral products drove the current U.S. volume base
U.S. oral smoke-free shipment volume also increased 1.8% to 3.5B equivalent units in the quarter.
That included ZYN shipments of 2.9B pouches.
Quarterly shipments can be distorted by inventory timing
PMI noted a prior-year inventory tailwind when discussing ZYN, so shipment growth should not be treated as identical to consumer offtake.
Compare it with U.S. ZYN shipment growth and International Smoke-Free shipment growth.
