U.S. ZYN shipment volume growth measures year-over-year change in ZYN pouch shipments in the United States.
PMI reported 1.8% growth in ZYN shipments in the second quarter of 2026, to 2.9B pouches.
Shipment growth differed from offtake
PMI said ZYN offtake was flat to slightly growing versus the prior year and noted an inventory tailwind in the second quarter of 2025.
That makes shipment growth a distribution measure rather than a direct consumer-demand measure.
Quarterly and year-to-date trends diverged
For the first six months of 2026, ZYN shipments declined 11.2% to 5.2B pouches because first-quarter distributor and trade inventory movements weighed on the period.
