Base case is our central scenario. Bear and bull cases show how uncertainty around private holdings, retained proceeds, taxes and liabilities can move the estimate.
Rankings use the current base-case estimate and show the wider bear-to-bull range on the full list.
Switch scenarios to see how the total and each component move together. The bars show each positive component's share of the estimated assets in that scenario, not audited holdings.
Jack Doohan earned his Formula 1 opportunity through Alpine's development programme and debuted at the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. He began 2025 in a full-time Alpine seat, but that run ended after the first six rounds when the team chose Franco Colapinto for the next five. Alpine's announcement retained Doohan as the first-choice reserve driver for that period.
RacingNews365 had estimated his 2025 annual Alpine base salary at between $500,000 and $1M before the season began. That projected rate assumed an employment context which changed within months. It cannot safely be treated as six completed months of take-home pay, a full year's salary actually received, or a contractual termination award.
A reserve role can involve compensation, development testing and continuing commercial opportunities, but the terms were not disclosed in the reviewed sources. Nor is there sufficient evidence to assign a specific asset to his racing career, family connections or future employment prospects. Most available information concerns seat assignments rather than personal finances.
The $1.2M central estimate is a broad working scenario for whatever earnings or outside arrangements he might have retained. The $0.1M lower and $4M upper scenarios acknowledge that professional costs, short contracts, reserve payments and private sponsorships may change the picture considerably. An audited asset schedule or the actual Alpine settlement could narrow the range; the original preseason salary table cannot.

RacingNews365's February 2025 preseason salary survey estimated Jack Doohan's annual Alpine base pay at $0.5M to $1M. The survey omitted bonuses and personal sponsorships; actual 2025 earnings after taxes and costs are not verified. Formula 1 reported Alpine's May 7, 2025 decision to put Franco Colapinto into the race seat from Imola, with Doohan moved to first-choice reserve, after six 2025 races. The modeled $1.2M center and $0.1M-$4M sensitivity range reflect unknown personal savings and liabilities, not an extrapolation of the full contractual term, an assumed podium bonus, or ownership in the racing team.

First personal wealth range distinguishes an annual preseason Alpine salary estimate from verified receipts after an abbreviated full-time driving stint.
This is the first retained snapshot, so there is no earlier comparable Grizzly Bulls estimate to show yet.
A paddock-source salary survey estimated annual gross team base compensation before the season. It excluded bonuses and sponsorships and cannot establish actual receipts after the season's changes.
