Base case is our central scenario. Bear and bull cases show how uncertainty around private holdings, retained proceeds, taxes and liabilities can move the estimate.
Rankings use the current base-case estimate and show the wider bear-to-bull range on the full list.
Switch scenarios to see how the total and each component move together. The bars show each positive component's share of the estimated assets in that scenario, not audited holdings.
Lawson first drove in Formula 1 in 2023 as a stand-in and earned another opportunity during 2024. His move into the senior Red Bull seat for the start of 2025 was significant for career visibility, but it lasted only two Grands Prix. Formula 1 confirmed his return to Racing Bulls in March 2025 as Yuki Tsunoda took the senior seat.
The RacingNews365 preseason salary survey assigned Lawson an estimated $1M annual base salary. That was a paddock-source rate, not a published contract, and it predates the outcome of his first season as a full-time driver. Any promotion or demotion clauses, bonus adjustments, endorsement income and actual compensation received remain undisclosed.
Lawson continued to race in 2025 and 2026, which supports some additional professional earnings. It does not establish a liquid portfolio, property valuation or privately held business stake. Fame and an F1 seat are not balance-sheet assets in their own right, and the economic value of future racing opportunities has not been counted as currently owned money.
A tentative $2.5M central estimate, with $0.5M and $8M downside/upside cases, reflects a short documented earnings period and potentially uneven off-track revenue. The widest uncertainty is not the published annual pay estimate but how much income, if any, has actually accumulated after personal obligations.

RacingNews365's February 2025 preseason survey estimated Liam Lawson's annual base F1 pay near $1M. This is not documented season-end total compensation or confirmed cash received.

Sources[2]Formula 1 confirmed in March 2025 that Liam Lawson would return from Red Bull Racing to Racing Bulls after the season's first two rounds.
Sources[3]RacingNews365 reported $1M as an estimated annual 2025 base salary before the season. Bonuses, sponsor contracts, tax and private investments are undisclosed, and future racing income is not a current asset.

RacingNews365 estimated a 2025 annual $1M base salary for Liam Lawson before the season began. That excludes team bonuses, personal sponsorships, taxes, agent costs and realized cash receipts. Entered Formula 1 in 2023 as a substitute at AlphaTauri, received a Red Bull Racing seat for the opening races of 2025 and subsequently returned to Racing Bulls. The $2.5M central retained-capital estimate and $0.5M to $8M range are assumptions about assets personally saved from professional income, not a present value of prospective contracts or a sum of published gross salaries.

Initial wealth range allows for a short and changing Formula 1 earnings record without booking future sponsorships or team salaries as owned assets.
This is the first retained snapshot, so there is no earlier comparable Grizzly Bulls estimate to show yet.
A paddock-source preseason survey estimated annual F1 base salary, excluding sponsorship, performance bonuses, professional costs and taxes. It does not verify completed-year receipts.
