Equivalent Pipeline Transportation Volume combines liquids pipeline volumes with natural-gas transportation converted at 3.8 MMBtu per barrel equivalent. It is a network-scale activity measure, not a physical barrel count.

Enterprise Products Partners reported 13.712 million barrels per day equivalent in 2025.

The disclosed conversion nearly reconstructs the total

Enterprise reported Natural Gas Pipeline Transportation Volume of 20.704 TBtu per day. That equals 20.704 million MMBtu per day.

At 3.8 MMBtu per barrel equivalent, the gas lane converts to about 5.448 million barrels per day equivalent.

Adding that to Liquids Pipeline Transportation Volume of 8.264 million barrels per day gives about 13.712 million barrels per day equivalent, essentially the reported total after rounding.

Energy equivalence is not physical barrel equivalence

The conversion puts gas and liquids on one energy-based activity scale. It does not mean natural gas physically becomes barrels, nor does it establish equal commodity value, tariff economics, or margin per equivalent barrel.

Use the components before interpreting a change

Equivalent volume can rise because gas transportation, liquids transportation, or both increased. The component measures are needed to identify which network lane actually changed.
