Midstream Liquids Storage Capacity measures storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, petrochemicals, and refined products across the midstream network.

Enterprise Products Partners reported more than 300 million barrels of liquids storage capacity in its 2025 disclosures.

Capacity is more than 36 days of 2025 liquids pipeline flow as a scale check

Enterprise reported Liquids Pipeline Transportation Volume of 8.264 million barrels per day.

Using the disclosed lower bound, 300 million barrels divided by 8.264 million barrels per day is about 36.3 days.

That is only a physical-scale comparison. The stored-product population, pipeline-flow population, asset ownership, and timing do not line up well enough to call it inventory days or storage turns.

Storage capacity does not reveal how full the tanks are

Capacity is a maximum infrastructure measure. It does not disclose average inventory, working capacity, utilization, throughput, injection/withdrawal rates, or customer occupancy.

Connectivity determines whether capacity is strategically useful

Storage linked to pipelines, fractionators, petrochemical plants, export terminals, and demand centers can support balancing and optionality that a standalone barrel of tank capacity cannot show.

The capacity figure therefore needs to be read alongside the network's actual transportation and terminal activity.
