Workplace services customer location count measures the number of customer sites served across a uniform, facility-services, or adjacent route network.

UniFirst said it provided products and services to more than 300,000 customer locations in the U.S., Canada, and Europe as of its fiscal 2026 third quarter.

Location count describes network breadth

A larger customer footprint can support denser routes, broader cross-selling opportunities, and more efficient use of service infrastructure.

That scale still needs context. A location count does not reveal spend per customer, contract retention, or route profitability.

Customer locations are not the same as customers or workers served

One customer can operate multiple locations, while a single location can include many uniformed workers.

Read location count with route-servicing revenue mix and uniform and facility revenue mix rather than treating it as a stand-alone productivity metric.
