Car wash location count measures the size of the operating network at a specific reporting date.

Mister Car Wash operated 548 locations at December 31, 2025, up from 514 at the end of 2024.

The ending count reconciles to annual unit growth

The 34-location increase consisted of 29 greenfield openings and five acquired locations.

That stock-flow bridge is useful because ending location count alone does not show how the network expanded.

The portfolio contains two operating formats

At year-end, Mister Car Wash operated 485 Express Exterior Locations and 63 Interior Cleaning Locations.

All locations offer exterior washing, but Interior Cleaning Locations add team-member-provided interior service. The format mix therefore has implications for labor intensity and service complexity.

More locations do not immediately mean mature economics

New and acquired sites remain outside comparable-store sales for roughly their first year, and greenfield stores can take approximately three years to mature.

Use ending count for physical scale, net additions for annual growth, and maturation metrics for unit economics.

Part of the Car Wash Subscription & Unit Economics

Connects subscription-member growth and wash-sales penetration with comparable-store demand, location-format and greenfield expansion, acquisition activity, and the capital spending required to maintain and grow a car wash network.
