Car wash subscription member growth measures the change in the recurring membership base from one reporting date to another.

Mister Car Wash grew Unlimited Wash Club membership from 2.124 million at the end of 2024 to 2.271 million at the end of 2025, approximately 7% growth.

The growth rate is a net result

The increase of roughly 147,000 members reflects all membership additions and cancellations that occurred during the year.

Mister Car Wash does not use this figure to disclose gross acquisition, churn, or retention separately. A 7% increase therefore cannot tell an investor how much selling effort was required to replace canceled members before producing net growth.

New stores can add members without entering comparable sales

Mister Car Wash opened 29 greenfield locations and acquired five sites during 2025.

Those newer sites can add UWC members while remaining outside the comparable-store base until the issuer's 13-month seasoning rule is satisfied. Membership growth can therefore combine established-store demand with footprint expansion.

Pair growth with sales penetration

Member growth tells you whether the recurring customer base is expanding. Subscription sales penetration tells you how much of wash sales that membership base generates.

In 2025, membership grew about 7% while UWC sales penetration increased to 76% from 74%, indicating that recurring membership increased both in scale and in wash-sales mix.
