Video game international net bookings mix measures the percentage of total bookings generated outside the publisher's domestic market.

Take-Two reported $580.5M of international Net Bookings in fiscal Q1 2027, equal to 42% of the total, compared with 41% a year earlier.

Geographic mix is not a constant-currency growth rate

The metric shows where bookings are generated, not what bookings growth would have been at constant exchange rates.

Foreign exchange, regional release timing, local pricing, platform mix, and franchise popularity can all change the reported international share.

Geography cuts across content and platform

International bookings can include mobile, console, PC, full-game sales, and recurrent consumer spending.

That makes geography a separate analytical dimension from mobile net bookings mix or content mix.

A rising international percentage can therefore coexist with very different underlying product economics, so investors should preserve the issuer's geographic definition before comparing periods or publishers.

Where this concept fits
  • Platform, distribution, and geographic mixCurrent relationship
Mobile and console bookings describe where players spend, digital bookings describe how transactions are distributed, and international bookings show where sales are generated. Keeping those dimensions separate avoids turning platform, channel, and geography into one normalized mix measure.
  • Bookings and revenue recognition
Net bookings follow current-period sales activity more closely than GAAP revenue, while deferred net revenue explains timing differences when online-enabled game economics are recognized across periods.
  • Launch sales and ongoing engagement
Full-game bookings capture release-driven purchases, while live services and recurrent consumer spending capture post-launch monetization. Recurrent-spending mix shows how much of the total comes from ongoing engagement.
