Foundry customer count measures the number of customers served by a foundry during a disclosed period.
TSMC said it manufactured products for 534 customers in 2025.
A broad customer roster did not mean broad revenue distribution
TSMC's ten largest customers generated 78% of 2025 net revenue. That means the other 524 customers collectively accounted for only 22% of net revenue.
Customer count and Foundry Top-Ten Customer Revenue Concentration therefore measure different things: commercial breadth versus revenue concentration.
Count does not reveal customer quality or size
One customer can represent many products and a large revenue contribution, while another can represent a small specialty program. The raw count gives no weighting for revenue, margin, node, or strategic importance.
Combine customer breadth with product breadth
TSMC also reported 12,682 products and 305 distinct process technologies in 2025. Read customer count with Foundry Product Count and Foundry Process Technology Count to understand manufacturing breadth without mistaking breadth for diversification.
