Foundry product count measures the number of different customer products a foundry manufactured during a disclosed period.

TSMC said it manufactured 12,682 different products in 2025.

Product breadth was much larger than customer breadth

TSMC served 534 customers in the same year. A simple division gives roughly 24 products per customer, but that average is only a breadth indicator because TSMC does not disclose an even product distribution across customers.

The useful signal is that one customer relationship can encompass many product programs.

Products sit on top of a broad technology stack

TSMC also deployed 305 distinct process technologies. Foundry Process Technology Count describes the manufacturing toolkit, while product count describes how many customer designs used that toolkit.

Do not turn product count into a revenue proxy

A product can be high-volume or low-volume, mature-node or leading-edge, and new or established. Two years with the same product count can therefore have very different revenue and margin outcomes.

Pair the count with Foundry Customer Count and process-node revenue mix.
