Foundry smartphone revenue mix measures the share of foundry revenue attributed to smartphone applications under the issuer's platform classification.
TSMC reported that smartphones represented about 29% of 2025 revenue.
Smartphone remained large but no longer dominant
HPC represented 58% of 2025 revenue, exactly twice the rounded smartphone share. Together the two platforms represented 87% of the platform mix.
The company was therefore highly exposed to two large end-use categories even though HPC had become the majority platform.
A platform share is not a process-node share
Smartphone products can use several process generations and companion chips. The 29% platform share should not be mapped directly onto Advanced-Technology Wafer Revenue Mix.
Compare demand concentration across dimensions
Platform concentration can coexist with customer concentration. A large smartphone share can be spread across customers, while a large customer can purchase chips for multiple platforms.
