Manufactured housing company-owned retail home sales mix measures the share of factory-built homes sold through company-owned retail centers rather than independent wholesale channels.

Cavco sold 1,378 of 5,657 homes through company-owned retail sales centers in the quarter ended June 27, 2026, or about 24.4% of reported unit sales.

Channel mix changes reported revenue per home

Retail transactions can include installation, utility connections, site improvements, landscaping, and other services that are not part of a basic wholesale home sale.

That means a rising retail mix can lift net revenue per home sold even without an equivalent change in factory pricing.

Unit mix is not revenue mix

The percentage uses homes sold as the denominator. Retail homes can carry different revenue per unit than homes sold to independent retailers, builders, communities, and developers.

Pair it with retail sales center count when evaluating direct-to-consumer expansion.
