Manufactured housing HUD-code sales mix measures the share of U.S. manufacturing sales generated by homes built to the federal HUD construction standard.
Champion Homes reported that approximately 87.3% of U.S. manufacturing sales in the quarter ended June 27, 2026 came from HUD-code homes.
HUD-code mix separates manufactured from other factory-built products
Factory-built housing can include HUD-code manufactured homes as well as modular products built under other construction standards.
The mix therefore helps identify how much of a manufacturer's U.S. sales base is directly exposed to the HUD-code manufactured-housing market.
Sales mix is not unit mix
The disclosed percentage is based on manufacturing sales, so differences in selling price and product configuration affect the denominator.
Pair it with HUD-code industry shipments and wholesale market share rather than treating it as the percentage of homes sold.
