Manufactured housing factory-built homes sold measures completed factory-built housing units sold during a period under the issuer's counting convention.
Cavco reported 5,657 factory-built homes sold in the quarter ended June 27, 2026, up 4.4% year over year. Champion Homes reported 7,089 U.S. homes sold, up 1.8%.
Homes sold are the basic physical-volume denominator
Revenue can move because of home volume, price, channel mix, product mix, installation content, or acquisitions. Home counts isolate one part of that bridge.
For Champion, higher U.S. home volume and a 0.6% increase in average home selling price both contributed to segment sales growth.
A home is not the same as a module
Factory-built homes can contain one or more floor sections. Cavco separately reports factory-built modules sold, so module counts should not be substituted for completed-home counts.
Use the volume measure with net revenue per home sold to separate units from monetization.
